This one-day introductory program for support staff covers the basic administrative procedures involved in conveyancing matters for the purchase and sale of residential property in New South Wales. 

Topics covered include: 

  • Introduction to conveyancing and conveyancing definitions 
  • Electronic Conveyancing 
  • Conveyancing – private treaty 
  • Preparation of the contract 
  • Procedures prior to exchange and exchange 
  • Pre-settlement, settlement and post-settlement 
  • Auction sales 

This course is suitable for all legal support staff with little to no experience in this area of law, or who want a refresher. Please note this course is not suitable for solicitors and does not qualify you to become a licensed conveyancer.
